The Saturday night banquet is open to everyone -- participants, racers, handlers, volunteers, family, friends, supporters, fans and groupies……we want to encourage everyone to attend! But you must have a ticket and we are anxious to get some idea of just how many will be attending so that the chefs can cook enough food.
Mail Run Participants and Stage Racers will be able to order banquet tickets for themselves and family and handlers when they complete the Registration/Waiver forms (see Registration). All others may order or reserve tickets by contacting Kate Palfrey at 250 983-9799 email kate@dogsledmailrun.ca Kate and the volunteers working with her will take care of your request and will confirm that a banquet ticket will be available for you. Tickets are $20.00 for adults and $10.00 for children under age 13 and seniors age 65 and over….we have never been disappointed with the food at this banquet. The meal will be followed by the annual auction which promises to be lots of fun. Auction volunteers Kim Verge and Molly Bare are collecting donations of auction items that are related to dog mushing and winter outdoor sports. If you have something you would be willing to donate, please contact Kim or Molly. For a complete outline of the banquet time and the schedule of events for Saturday January 21st, go to the Mail Run or Stage Race tabs on the website and click on the Quick Overview button.
